Please take all returns to the Courtesy Booth.  If you are unsure whether we will be able to process a return, please contact us at 805-963-7825.

1.   Returns should be made WITHIN 60 DAYS of the date of purchase, except for PLANTS (See #7 below).  After 60 days, we will not refund on items we no longer stock or have experienced manufacturer’s packaging changes.

2.  Purchases must be accompanied by a VALID RECEIPT from Santa Barbara Home Improvement Center.

3.  Items must be in ORIGINAL CONDITION - NOT USED.

4.  Products must be in ORIGINAL PACKAGING so as to be resalable.

5.   Refunds on items purchased with either a CREDIT CARD or a STORE CHARGE will be credited back to the original manner of payment.

6.   Refunds from purchases PAID WITH A CHECK will receive store credit if returned less than 14 days from original purchase date.  After 14 days, cash will be refunded.

7.  PLANTS are non-returnable after 7 DAYS.

8.  CUSTOM MIXED PAINTS are non-returnable.

9.  STOCK CUT to Customer Specifications, such as Lumber, Glass, Wire, Rope, Pipe, Chain, etc. is non-returnable.

10. Items marked with YELLOW ‘CLEARANCE’ TAGS are non-returnable.

11. BOOKS are non-returnable.

12. NON-STOCK items that have been SPECIAL ORDERED are subject to a RESTOCKING CHARGE and in some cases are non-returnable.

13.  All returns without a valid receipt will be handled at our discretion.  For refunded items, we will issue store credit good towards merchandise only using the lowest selling price of those items during the prior 12 month period.
